The underlying philosophy of the mission of CIDEA Foundation is to help social leaders reach a high quality performance using modern management tools in their work. They were aware of the fact that the new challenge for Argentinean organizations was to understand the decision-making process in times when intellectual capacity is the economic cornerstone.
 
Since May, 2000 CIDEA Foundation together with other non-governmental organizations have participated in the celebration of the World Asthma Day in Argentina, which is organized by GINA (Global Initiative for Asthma), WHO (World Health Organization) and NHLBI (US Nationa Health, Lung and Blood Institute).

Starting 2001, a toll-free number provides free assistance and information to patients and people in general. Free access stands providing and promoting the treatment of allergic diseases were placed in public spaces.

CIDEA Foundation was selected to carry out ISAAC phase III, International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Children during 2002-2003.

The Beginnings...
   
  CIDEA Foundation was created in 1998, after two years' organization. During such period, a small group of people decided to promote a generation of professionals who would foster a sustainable development in Argentina, through their work in the social area.

The professionals who created CIDEA Foundation understood that Argentina was undergoing very important and deep changes, and that intermediate organizations were going to play a key role in such a new scenario.
